Burke, Tim J.: - Tim grew up reading superhero comics and has a belief that there is a superhero in all of us, just waiting for opportunities to throw on a cape and save the day. The theme, that we are all destined for greatness, pervades all of his art, writing and teaching. Some would say he spent too much of his early years in costume, pretending to be a hero, and then spent too much of his school years drawing heroes. These days, he looks for situations where he can actually be a hero. Tim lives in the idyllic Dandenongs, with his wife, and near his married children and grandchildren. He is now a full-time illustrator, sometime writer and speaker, and part-time business man.
