In Faith Finding a Voice Cardinal Vincent Nichols invites us to join him in an exploration of the presence of God in our lives. Through this vision the Cardinal advocates the necessity of theological and religious literacy for the common good of society. This engagement encourages us to nourish the seeds of hope and to strive to build a more peaceful world through inter-faith dialogue. Such dialogue is enhanced, the Cardinal believes, through the baptised faithful understanding their role as ‘missionary disciples’ (Pope Francis, Evangelii Gaudium, 120). The ministries of the Church are portrayed as an interlocking framework in which the unity of the faithful may glorify God and serve humanity through the voice of evangelization.
His Eminence Cardinal Vincent Nichols is the Archbishop of Westminster. This is his second book, the first being a biography and study of St John Fisher. He was previously Archbishop of Birmingham and is President of the Catholic Bishops’ conference of England and Wales.
