Dr Duncan Anderson MBE was head of the Department of War Studies at Sandhurst Academy. His main interests are military and diplomatic history, from the mid eighteenth century to the present. He served as a founding academic mentor at the Iraqi Military Academy and later the Afghan National Army Officers’ Academy. His battlefield tours conducted for both the British and American armies include Salamanca, Waterloo, and the Falklands.
