Falling by Shelley Silas
Falling is an intense comedy drama about mid life crisis, teenage angst, growing up and growing old - even at forty. It's about babies, sibling rivalry and learning when it's time to give up on the dreams and get on with life. Falling is a moving and funny investigation of the modern extended family.
Shelley was born in Calcutta and moved to London with her family when she was a child. She was a winner in the ICA's New Blood fiction competition (1996) with her short story Via Calcutta, published in the on-line anthology Endangered Species.
