Robinson, Melissa: - Melissa Robinson, PhD, RN is Professor & Division Chair of the Nursing Programs at University of Providence. Before that she was Professor of Nursing and Coordinator for the RN to BSN Program at Linfield College, School of Nursing. She has 27 years of experience in nursing, including 12 years teaching online in post-licensure nursing education programs. She is a certified hospice & palliative care nurse, a certified online instructor, and a master reviewer for Quality Matters. She serves as a reviewer for Public Health Nursing and the Journal of Professional Nursing. She has presented at 15 peer-reviewed local and national conferences, authored 10 peer reviewed publications and five book chapters, and served as a co-editor for the 6th edition of Family Health Care Nursing: Theory, Practice, and Research (2018). Previous clinical positions include roles in hospice & palliative care, community and tribal health, acute care, and leadership.
