Sarah Thompson is a Principal Lawyer in the Family department of Slater & Gordon. Sarah's career has spanned 15 years. She achieved a commendation in her Legal Practise Course (LPC) in 1995, and spent 2 years working at a law firm in the USA before returning to England in 2005. She joined Slater & Gordon in 2010 and was appointed a Principal Lawyer that same year. Sarah is also a trained mediator and collaborative lawyer. In April 2011 she set up Slater & Gordon's successful Family Mediation Service. She has appeared in various print and broadcast media commenting on family law, including the BBC, The Sunday Times, Radio 4 and the Manchester Evening News. The 2012 edition of the Legal 500 Directory describes Sarah as "a bright lawyer with a calm approach". Sarah's extensive experience in all areas of matrimonial and family law, coupled with her reputation as a robust advocate, attracts a range of clients, from those with modest assets to Captains of Industry and sports personalities.
