ROWLING wrote the seven Harry Potter books, which were released between 1997 and 2007. Rowling returned to publishing for younger children with The Ickabog, a fairy tale whose revenues she is contributing to Covid-19-affected organizations.

She lives with her family in Scotland and is happiest when she is alone in a room, making up stories.
