Farm Babies by Rod Campbell
In this title the reader visits all the baby animals on the farm, finally going to see the little fluffy chicks, to find they really are fluffy. There is also an element of counting, as each spread has a higher number of baby animals.
Rod Campbell was born in Scotland and now lives in Paris. He read sciences in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and went on to gain a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. He later worked in London's Marlborough Gallery and then began to work as an artist and a writer - or as he puts it: 'a maker of books'.
