Fast Peyote Stitch Jewelry by Josie Fabre
In this book, designer Josie Fabre shares several techniques that allow for much quicker creation of the Peyote stitch. While this stitch is often the first stitch learned by beginning stitchers, it is extremely time-consuming. She simplifies the process with her detailed instructions and original, multi-drop, flat peyote patterns. Her inspired bracelet patterns range from the traditional wide to slim width, some include clean edging, some are finished with a stitched toggle clasp, and others use a double clasp. Josie Fabre fell in love with stitching while in graduate school. As a full-time scientist and mother, she still beads every chance she gets. Her designs are often inspired by photographs she takes.
