Using a case study approach, the author explores the social, cultural and psychological forces that lead people to kill members of their own families.Charles Patrick Ewing, JD, PhD, is a Distinguished Service Professor and Vice Dean at the State University of New York Buffalo Law School. Dr. Ewing is a Harvard Law School graduate, a Cornell University Ph.D. recipient, and a Yale University Institute for Social and Policy Studies postdoctoral scholar. Dr. Ewing is a former President of the American Board of Forensic Psychology and the author of nine prior works, including Justice Perverted: Sex Crimes Law, Psychology, and Public Policy (OUP, 2011).
