Father and Child Companion by Wynn Wheldon

This fun, diverse family companion is a heartwarming celebration of fatherhood and all that it encompasses. From the wonder of welcoming your firstborn into the world, through teaching your children to ride a bike and hosting their birthday parties, to walking your daughter down the aisle and becoming a grandfather, every paternal joy and trial is memorably evoked. Poems and literary extracts from around the world, by Charles Dickens, Tolstoy and others, bring to life charming examples of devoted dads, and loving sons and daughters.Dad can perfect some of his favourite hearty recipes such as spaghetti Bolognese or blueberry pancakes, and really impress the little ones and their Mom! He can also revisit his own childhood by helping the kids to make a model airplane or a live, erupting volcano! Every aspect of fatherhood is covered, from building sandcastles, to mowing the lawn.
