Favourite Organ Music Book 1: Nine Easy Pieces by Louis Lefébure-Wély
These pieces are of tremendous charm, and make ideal tutorial material as they are very easy, with simple pedal parts. They are ideal as quiet voluntaries for liturgical use.
What can one say about Wely's music - harmonic, tuneful, falls lightly on the earDavid Sanger's edition is superb - well set out and including French registration suggestions. I strongly recommend the works. * The Organ *
