Favourite Stories by Jenny Morris
This series will provide a lively range of fresh ideas that are no more than 10 minutes in duration. All the activities will require little or no preparation and are ideal for busy practitioners to slot in to the day as required. The ideas will be linked to the Stepping Stones and Early Learning Goals so can be used as part of a planned curriculum. Each book will also contain a selection of time-saving photocopiables designed to encourage children to use a wide range of skills. Lesley Clark is a lecturer at the Reading and Information Centre at the University of Reading. She is an experienced early years teacher and has written for the Themes for Early Years; Starting With Story and Skills for Early Years series. Pauline Kenyon is an early years consultant and registered inspector. She has been Senior Primary Inspector for Dudley LEA, a primary and nursery registered inspector and OFSTED accredited trainer. Jenny Morris is an early years teacher who has run her own nursery. She is the regular contributor of the Story Box series of articles in Nursery Projects and has written for the 'Themes for Early Years' and 'Starting with Story' series for Scholastic.
