Fifty Key Theatre Designers looks at the history of theatrical scenography by examining the work and contributions of fifty ground-breaking set, costume, lighting, and projection designers since the Renaissance.Arnold Aronson is Professor Emeritus of Theatre at Columbia University in New York. He is the author of several books on design including Ming Cho Lee: A Life in Design and The History and Theory of Environmental Scenography. He is the editor of The Routledge Companion to Scenography and was a founding co-editor of the journal Theatre and Performance Design. He has a long history with the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space and served as General Commissioner in 2007.
