General Sir Michael Rose was educated at Oxford and the Sorbonne. Now retired from the army, he had one of the most distinguished careers in the service, commanding the 22nd SAS Regiment through the Iranian Embassy siege and the Falklands War. He now lectures on peace-keeping.
