Issue 26, 2005

Even the most accomplished landscape artist can struggle when it comes to painting figures in watercolourCarole Massey takes us through the step-by-step process of figure drawing and painting in a way that will ensure success for anyone. Her range of illustrations will help you get that figure right. I particularly liked the section on facial features - eyes, mouth, nose, ears - all with good examples. Hands and feet are explained clearly and her paintings of figures in a variety of settings are an asset to any artist.
