Jennifer Iacopelli was born and raised in New York and has no intention of ever leaving. She read anything she could get her hands on as a kid, but her favorite authors were L.M. Montgomery and J.K. Rowling. Both Montgomery and Frances Hodgson Burnett wrote about kick-butt females before it was popular to be a kick-butt girl. She frolics all day with her pupils, books, then computers as a high school librarian, and writes at night while cheering on her favorite Yankees.
