He has worked as a journalist for more than two decades, mostly in the United States. and Mexico, as well as journals in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Peru. His base of operations is in Mexico City.
He works as an investigator for lawyers in the United States when he is not writing. They are defending Latin Americans facing the death penalty.
