Dominic Price grew up in Rathfarnham in Dublin close to Padraig Pearse's Scoil Eanna, and often visited his grandparents near Kilmainham Jail. This sparked an interest in Irish history. He also served in the FCA, gaining valuable military experience. A teacher of history, religious education & music, he has a keen interest in traditional Irish music and plays the uilleann pipes, traditional flute and guitar.
