Franny Choi has spent the last three years working in youth, education, and grassroots organizing spaces in Providence, Rhode Island. Floating, Brilliant, Gone, her debut book of poems, was published by Write Bloody Publishing in March 2014. Poetry, PANK, Folio, Solstice, Fringe, Apogee, and other publications have published her poems and stories. She has been a finalist in the National Poetry Slam, the Individual World Poetry Slam, and the Women of the World Poetry Slam, and is a Pushcart Award nominee. Project V.O.I.C.E. is a non-profit organization that aims to make the world a better place. Franny teaches creative writing in classrooms and community centers in her hometown and around the country, as well as the Providence Poetry Slam.
