Welcome to Bluebell Woods, home to a delightful cast of woodland friends. Spring is here and Florence the rabbit is excited about her birthday. But it seems that everyone is very busy, and she is worried no one will be around to celebrate. She confides in her best friends, Honey the wood mouse, Natalie the hedgehog and Evie the squirrel, that she would love a picnic by the Babbling Brook, but even they're too busy to come. Lisa Norton is the author of dozens of children's books and one play. She lives in the West Sussex countryside, near a wonderful bluebell wood owned by the National Trust. She is also a keen wildlife gardener, although she draws the line at rabbits! Rebecca Harry studied design/illustration in Exeter and began her career drawing greetings cards. She has illustrated several books including the Ruby Duckling picture books with Jonathan Emmett. She lives in Cardiff with her two children.
