Ian Denley has extensive experience as a flute teacher at all levels. He studied at the Royal Northern College of Music, and later in London and Berlin. He has appeared as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player with many groups including the Allegri Quartet and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as conducting, accompanying, and coaching. An ABRSM examiner since 1986, Ian is the author of the Board's Scales and Arpeggios for Woodwind and the Time Pieces series for woodwind.
