Carl Fogarty was born in Blackburn in July 1965. A four-time Superbike World Champion, he is a hero to millions of bike fans around the world. His track racing career was cut short by injury in 2000, but since then he has commentated on the BBC’s World Superbike programme and now manages his own World Superbike team, Foggy Petronas.

Neil Bramwell is the former sports editor of the Blackburn-based Lancashire Evening Telegraph. He has followed Carl’s career from day one and also collaborated with him on his runaway bestselling autobiography, Foggy and his follow-up book, Foggy on Bikes. He is now Fogarty’s agent.
