Tom O'Connor earned his Ph.D. in English literature from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 2004. His work has appeared in The Journal of Cinema & Video, Social Semiotics, Disability Studies Quarterly, and the essay collection Ready Made: The Film Remake in Postmodern Times, among other publications. Poetry Southeast, Notre Dame Review, Columbia Poetry Review, Mankato Poetry Review, Pebble Lake Review, and Flint Hills Review, among other publications, have published his work.
