She began her career as an archaeological illustrator before deciding to pursue a writing career. Her nonfiction publications cover a wide range of topics, including jewelry design and miniatures. She's also written a number of musicals for both children and adults.
Sue lives in rural Suffolk, England, with her husband and two daughters. She is also a trained Yachtmaster Offshore and a talented musician and artist.
