He has worked for Novib (now Oxfam Netherlands) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He is currently stationed in Jakarta, Indonesia, where he works as a Senior Technical Advisor on a US-funded effort to tackle corruption in the Indonesian National Police. The Department of Justice is a federal government agency.
