Heather grew up on a regular diet of chocolate, Anne of Green Gables, Audrey Hepburn, Jane Austen, and other female movie mainstays as the youngest of four sisters (and one very tolerant older brother). Heather was inspired by these novels, as well as outstanding teachers, to read many of the classics in literature throughout high school and college and, subsequently, to begin creating her own romance and adventure stories. Heather earned magna cum laude from Brigham Young University after meeting and marrying her husband, Mark, and eventually settled down in a tiny agricultural village in southeastern Idaho with her husband and four children. Heather enjoys spending time with her family, volleyball, piano, the outdoors, and nearly anything creative in her leisure time.
