Lana Hughes is an Essex born, London based artist specialising in hand-lettering, sign writing and typographic illustration. In 2010 she completed a B.A (Hons) in Graphic Design at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, Surrey. Upon graduating, she lived and worked in London for several years before spending a year painting her way around Australia and South East Asia. Lana has created works for clients including British Airways, O2, Tesco, Liberty of London, Lovebox Festival, Southbank London, Studio Canal, CAMRA and London Zoo.
Now back living in London, she works both independently and as one third of design studio Animaux Circus, which she co-founded in 2010. In addition, she often hosts workshops and exhibits her works around London. In her spare time she enjoys travelling and spray painting large scale murals with other artists on her travels.
