This book is intended primarily for students without science A-levels or the equivalent who are entering an engineering degree or Higher National Diploma course via a foundation year. Dr KEITH WATSON lectures at the University of Portsmouth and has taught engineering and diploma students for more than twenty-five years. He has taught on the engineering foundation course at Portsmouth since its inception in 1988.
