Astrid Scholte understood from a young age that she wanted to be surrounded by all things fantastical, having grown up on a diet of Spielberg, Lucas, and Disney. She's spent the previous ten years as an artist and manager in cinema, animation, and television. Working on James Cameron's Avatar, Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin, and George Miller's Happy Feet Two are among his career highlights. She is a visual writer who aspires to portray the vivid stories that play out in her head like movies. She paints her favorite literary characters and obeys her furry rulers, Lilo and Mickey, when she's not writing. Her debut novel is titled Four Dead Queens.
