Free Throw by Jake Maddox

Free Throw by Jake Maddox

Since Derek is the tallest kid on his basketball team, his coach decides to have him play center instead of Jason. Derek thinks this is a lucky break, until Jason stops passing the ball to him.

Jake Maddox, who is he? His novels cover a wide range of topics, including team sports, outdoor activities, survival experiences, and even motor racing. Many writers have been inspired by his achievements to follow in his footsteps - literally! Maddox, who has always been a team player, understands that it takes more than one man (or woman) to write a book suitable for young readers. He hopes that the skills taught on the court, field, or arena, as well as the champion sprinter pace of his books, would inspire children to become great athletes and readers for life.
