Kinsey, Chris: - The poet Chris Kinsey has always been inspired by the borderlands of Shropshire. She derives most of the inspiration for her poetry from free ranging in the countryside. Sometimes, as the writer Annie Dillard said, Its enough for a poet just to be there [in nature]. She is a very experienced tutor of writing and Tai Chi and happy to share her approaches to exploring and creating. She is thoughtful, generous and knowledgeable; has had 4 collections of poetry published, and her newest poetry collection From Rowan Ridge is published by Fair Acre Press in September 2019. Chris was the BBC Wildlife Poet of the year 2008, won Natur Cymru's prose competition in 2012 and has written a regular Nature Diary for Cambria.
