From Sheep to Shore by Philippa Robinson-Gill
Although a work of fiction, the two main Characters, Meg and Jack are real and were in reality both hard working sheep dogs that had to make a huge transformation from looking after the sheep on the farm to pets living with my husband and I by the sea in Northumberland.
Living by the sea in Northumberland Philippa Robinson-Gill has spent a lifetime working in agriculture. The author of three books in the Salty Sheepdogs series, From Sheep to Shore, Salty Sheepdogs Set Sail and new release, Saving Sophie. In 2024, she and her illustrator ran a hugely enjoyable workshop and reading at the York Literary Festival, the feedback from this event and other readings, inspire Philippa to continue her writing.
