He graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a MFA in Sequential Art and participated in the international artist residency program La Maison Des Auteurs in Angouleme, France. He is currently residing in New York, where he works as a freelance artist and as a radio producer for Slate's Culture Gabfest. His work has appeared on Wonkette, National Public Radio, and the Graphic Canon comics collections, among other places. Top Shelf published his first novel, The Fun Family, in 2016.
