This is a book for children, with fun poems, the poems have been written with children in mind, and can stimulate their imagination, curiosity and development. The inspiration behind these poems came from my own experiences when I was a child, and what I would have enjoyed. Hopefully these poems will be read by children world wide and they enjoy reading them, and would be encouraged to expand their imagination.
Gwen Beaudean Thoma lives in Missouri along the Mississippi River halfway between St. Louis and Memphis, Tennessee. She attended the local university for her basic nursing degrees and spent the first twelve years of her career in basic nursing practice. For the next thirty years, she was a nursing instructor. Dr. Thoma received her doctorate in education from the University of Memphis with an emphasis in instructional and curriculum leadership. Her research centered around patient and family education. Dr. Thoma has published several articles in nursing journals on patient and family education. After retiring in 2011, Dr. Thoma still pursues her love for education in her writings.
