Larry R. Squire, PhD, is Research Career Scientist at the Veterans Affairs San Diego Healthcare System and Professor of Psychiatry, Neurosciences, and Psychology at the University of California, San Diego. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Medicine. Daniel L. Schacter, PhD, is Professor and Chair of Psychology at Harvard University. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a recipient of the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship.
