Fundamentals of Pharmacology for Veterinary Technicians by Janet Romich

This practical, visual presentation of medications used by veterinary and laboratory animal technicians makes it easy to comprehend such concepts as dose calculations, medication preparation and medication handling techniques. Readers first will review the basic anatomy and physiology of the body systems, and then they will be introduced to the drugs that treat diseases of those systems. Interactive CD-ROMs help readers understand dose calculations and fluid administrations and give readers an excellent tool for certification examination preparation. On-line resources help students hone their critical thinking skills, and case studies show the practical use of the text's material.
