Ellen DeGeneres is an Emmy Award-winning American stand-up comedian, actor, and producer who now hosts the syndicated talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She's appeared in a number of films, including as Dory in Finding Nemo? In a 1997 visit on The Oprah Winfrey Show, she came out as a lesbian, and her character on Ellen followed suit shortly after. She and her wife, Portia de Rossi, currently reside in Los Angeles.
