Gaelic in Your Gob by S M Newton

An introduction to the history of Scottish Gaelic and its relationship with English followed by forty eight absorbing essays that trace common words in modern English to the Scottish Highlands. These terms have left trails that lead us through space and time and allow us to piece together the histories of people, culture, and language - with some laughs along the way.

213 pages with 30 illustrations by Natalia Lopes, a map and diagrams.
