Phil Taylor was born in 1967 in Southern Ontario and now resides in Victoria, British Columbia. He's been interested in photography for more than two decades, although he took a break from it for a while to pursue his interest in computers. It didn't take long for him to recognize that his two passions were about to collide. Phil has darkroom experience and is delighted to say that he has been using a digital darkroom for the past five years. He still uses film for his photos and scans his negatives into his computer.
When he first got into digital imaging, he discovered a large quantity of jargon and was greeted with a rapid accumulation of terms. Phil has done a lot of study and has finally arrived at this conclusion.
