Garment Workers of South Jersey by Lisa E Cox

Nine oral histories collected from members of the garment industry in Southern New Jersey, particularly the Town of Hammonton, New Jersey.

Lisa Cox is a mother of three adult sons. She spent 24 years as an elementary school counselor and educator. Writing books, camping, and boxing are some of Lisa's favorite pastimes. Lisa is passionate about using her writing to empower and encourage others. In the summer of 2017, her first co-authored children's book was published.

It's called Not Yet. Lisa's outlook on life is also seen through the eyes of someone who suffers from Parkinson's Disease. Embrace today is her slogan. It's the only one you've got.
