About Our Authors Sandra Rush is a best-selling author acclaimed for making mathematics easier to grasp. She has taught math and physics at both the secondary and college levels. As an undergraduate majoring in math at Temple University, Ms. Rush tutored students at Philadelphia public schools, which sparked her interest in teaching. Ms. Rush has written test-preparation guides for all ages, with her approach continually informed by her one-on-one tutoring and coaching. Julie O'Connell is an associate professor of English at Felician University, where, beginning in fall 2016, this book is being used as part of a Praxis Core review course led by Dr. O'Connell. Dr. O'Connell was chair of Developmental Studies at Felician from 2010 to 2013. From 2000 to 2010, she served as director of Felician's Writing Lab. She has also worked as a learning specialist at Rutgers University, as a corporate trainer, and as a high school English teacher.
