This unique cookbook features their favourite recipes, encouraging the use of seasonal produce.Claudia Roden is an anthropologist and cookbook author living in the United Kingdom. She was born in Cairo and went to school in both France and England. She has written a number of best-selling books, including the international award-winning The Book of Jewish Cuisine, and her bestselling cookbook, A Book of Middle Eastern Food, revolutionized Western ideas toward Middle Eastern cuisines in 1968. Roden has also presented BBC cookery shows and is the co-chair of the Oxford Symposium on Food and Cuisine, in addition to her literary work.
