Joseph Mark Scalia received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in History from Louisiana Tech University. In addition to Germany’s Last Mission to Japan, Scalia has authored several articles for historical journals, and is currently working on an account of the Confederate cruiser CSS Stonewall. Scalia and his wife Marilyn live in the Houston suburb of Humble, Texas, where Scalia teaches US History at Atascocita High School. He lives in Humble, Texas.
