Ed Miller is a mathematics professor at Lewis-Clark State College. In 1989, he received his PhD in general topology from Ohio University. He instructs students in a variety of subjects, including elementary and intermediate algebra. During his time as chair of the General Education Committee, the Curriculum Committee, and the Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, he was inspired to consider courses as a whole rather than discrete components. Ed, a frequent speaker at national and regional conferences, is investigating the use of multiple choice questions as a teaching and assessment tool.
