Ghosts of Redemption by Edward Field
A young adult, dark fantasy. This follows on from the previous books in the series and is part of the larger, ongoing story. 'Is it simple paranoia that prompts nineteen-year old MI6 agent Tyler May to place her house in lockdown? War rages, the Ghost Squad is AWOL, her boss has vanished and something dark is stalking her. Simple paranoia? The three special agents are sent to Prague on a new mission to find the GAUNT machine's creator and uncover the enemy's diabolical plans. But is all as it seems? The girls must face death to find out.' This book contains some violence and may not be appropriate for younger readers.
Ben has enjoyed a diversity of creative disciplines down the years including graphic design, animation, garden design, photography, song writing, performing arts and illustration, yet above all these he enjoys writing fiction the most. When Ben began writing, the genre was fantasy. He later worked on a series of (as yet unpublished) early-medieval whodunits before, beginning the Tyler May project. The Tyler May story encompasses several key areas of Ben's interest, namely, history, mystery and crime/detection. In addition to his written work Ben is a song writer and illustrator. He is married and has three daughters who have partly been the inspiration for the three main characters in the Tyler May series. Ben on the Tyler May Story... 'The idea for Tyler May's story came about after a conversation in the car with my eldest daughter who had recently devoured the excellent Harry Potter series. I was wondering 'What would be good for her to read next - what would she really enjoy?' and the seed of a story began to take root.'
