Synthia SAINT JAMES is an award-winning author and illustrator of 17 children's books and a world-renowned multicultural visual artist. She has written two collections of poetry, a cookbook, and a postcard book, as well as two new books, Living My Dream: An Artistic Approach to Marketing and Can I Touch You: A Collection of Love Poems, which she recently launched. SAINT JAMES has received multiple accolades during her forty-plus year career as a keynote speaker and architectural designer. Her honors include the coveted Trumpet Award, an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Saint Augustine's College, and induction into the Hall of Fame of the National Association of Women Business Owners - Los Angeles. She is best known for designing the first Kwanzaa stamp for the US Postal Service in 1997, for which she was awarded a History Maker Award. Her work may be found on the covers of over 70 books, including Terry McMillan's Waiting to Exhale, which has an international cover.
