She has also performed as a professional dancer with Louis Falco, Twyla Tharp Dance, and American Ballroom Theater, as well as choreographing and teaching for organizations all over the world. She has appeared on PBS' Great Performances, Evening at the Pops, and Happy New Year USA a number of times. Using the pen name Gemma Bruce, she also writes romance books. Fredyont and her two children live in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
