Sandy is a serving police officer. She began her career as a PE teacher but soon traded her hockey stick for a truncheon and has recently received her twenty year Police Long Service and Good Conduct Award. When her local paper printed an unflattering picture of her in a charity marathon, Sandy felt compelled to respond with an amusing account of her training programme. Sandy lives in the West Country with her husband and two sons.
