Eoin Dempsey is an Irish actor who was born and raised in Dublin. He arrived in the United States in 2008, just as the economy was about to crash. During a long time of unemployment, he began writing Seeking Rebecca, his first published novel, while living with his very patient in-laws. He now resides with his wife in Philadelphia, where he teaches computer science to primary school students.
